My name's Ruth Ellen. I’m a journalist by training, a creative by nature, and a problem solver by practice. 

I studied journalism at Northwestern University and received certificates in Integrated Marketing Communications and Human-Centered Design from Medill School of Journalism and Segal Design Institute.

I’ve previously worked at Doug Carpenter + Associates in Memphis, TN as an Editorial Marketing intern and Edelman Chicago as a Business Marketing intern.

Equally as important personal projects include painting, preparing elaborate pasta dishes, and playing The New York Times Connections.
